Each of my sessions start with a booking fee. This is your session fee, which covers your session only. There are no prints and/or digitals included. I gift part of your session fee back to you in the form of a product credit. This product credit can be used towards your product purchases (ie. prints, canvas', vivid, bamboo art, albums, keepsake boxes, and/or digitals).
Do digitals come with the session?
Digitals are NOT included in your session fee, however, they are available to purchase. You can purchase the digitals in many ways. You can purchase the whole gallery in a digital download format. So it's best for you to download them to your laptop or desktop and then transfer them to the cloud storage, or USB. You can also purchase a keepsake box that includes your digital images on a customized USB. You are also gifted the digital when you purchase any prints, wall art, or bamboo.
Why are your product prices so high?
In addition to getting my products from a PROFESSIONAL PRINT lab, your purchase also includes the digital image of the image that you purchase. So you are not only getting professional products but you are also getting the digital download of the image that you purchase.
Am I able to print from other places or do I have to order prints from you?
If you purchase digitals, you most certainly can purchase from consumer lab, however, these places have been known to alter your image (color wise). Per my contract and print release, I am not responsible for any issues that may arise with these types of places or with the type of product that you may get. I am more than willing to give suggestions on consumer labs, to use for your prints. If you would like professional-grade prints, I would be more than happy to discuss the options of labs that I order with.
How does your process work?
We start our journey with a consult, where I learn about you, your family, your vision, and your wishes for our session. We will then go over the different options for sessions to find one that works best for you. We will then schedule our session, and I will send over the contract and booking fee (session fee) invoice. These are due within 48 hours or your session will be opened up to the next person in line. We then proceed to our session, during this time, I will do my best to get poses and locations that are your wishes. About 2 weeks after our session, you will receive an e-mail with a link to setup your gallery reveal. During our reveal, we will be able to go through your images. This is where I am able to see your reaction, allowing me to give guidance on what images spoke to you. Your gallery will be open for 21 days after our reveal for you to make your purchase decisions.
Do you backup your gallery or keep my images once my gallery expires?
I do my best to keep your gallery images backed up on multiple drives. I can NOT guarantee any hardware failure that might happen. It's best to purchase what you would see yourself purchasing possibly in the future as well. My maximum length of time for backing galleries up is 1 year, after that, I do reserve the right to copy over any images.
Do you use my images for promotional purposes?
I do have in my contract that I retain ownership of the images and that I may use them for promotional purposes. This includes marketing materials, Facebook promos, brochures, and my website or other social media formats. However, I completely respect your wishes if you would rather not have your images used. I ask that you please submit in writing a request to not use them to email@example.com
I want to have my grandchildren or extended family in our session, is that ok?
While you are the primary person getting the session, I will be sending a release form to the adults also attending the sessions to grant minors to be in the images. If parent/guardian of minor do not sign, minors will not be allowed to be a part of the session.
I need help with outfit choices and locations, can you help?
Absolutely! I create a Pinterest board for us to drop inspiration and ideas on posing & outfits. These are just inspirations, they will not be copied in any way. I also work with locals boutiques and stores in the area that I feel might be a good fit for your style. Some of my favorite stores are Huck & Heath, Maurices, Old Navy, Children's Place, M2K, Unbranded, KooKoos Nest, Lula B, Tinee & Trendy, Lily Valley Baby.
For locations, I do scout out based on what we talk about in our consult. I really taking into consideration your homes decorating as well to make sure your images will fit beautifully on your walls. I will also do locations that you request as well, however, if I feel that the safety of anyone is being compromised, I will stop the session, and your session will be complete with NO REFUND given.
What is your style?
As you can see from my portfolio, I focus on natural, real, raw moments with your family, new addition or littles. For my newborn session, I am not properly trained at this time to attempt your posed newborn sessions (those that would be composites, ie. froggy pose). I suggest that you make sure that if that is the style of newborn images that you want, you find one that is certified in newborn safety and has properly been trained to do such poses. I do wrapped, and lifestyle type of newborn poses and will not put your newborn in any danger. For my littles and family sessions, I lean towards getting natural, real and raw emotions as well. I do not pose, but will offer guidance on where to sit/stand/snuggle and do prompts to encourage laughter and snuggles.
How long until I receive my images?
Typically, your proofing gallery will be available to do our reveal appointment within 7-10 days of our session. Once you place your order, your digital images are available once full payment has been received. Prints are ordered every Thursday and take 3-5 business days to arrive. Wall Art is ordered every Tuesday and take 10-14 business days to arrive. Once I receive the orders, I will contact you for pickup.
